Body Dry Brushing helps awaken the body, boost circulation, and support lymphatic flow. This practice is most effective at the start of the day ( before your morning shower) due to its naturally stimulating and energizing effects.
HOW TO:
Starting at your feet, brush your skin towards your heart with gentle, upward strokes.
When brushing your arms, begin at the hands and move upwards. Use light pressure with upward strokes or slow, circular motions to support circulation and lymphatic flow.
When brushing your stomach area, use gentle strokes in a counterclockwise motion.
Spend at least 3-5 minutes on your dry brushing practice.
Start out slow and build up to more frequent dry brushing, 1-2 times a week tuning in to see how your body responds. Start with gentle pressure and adjust as needed.
As you get comfortable, you can increase the frequency to enhance circulation, exfoliation, and detoxification. Listen to your body and let it guide you.
